The Art, Sports and Animation camp has been a favourite of our three boys for many years. The balance of creative engagement and exploration, and physical activity fuels their hearts, minds and bodies. Possibly the greatest testament to the quality of fun is that our boys fly out of bed in the morning and are always keen for another day’s adventure. The staff and student leaders always deliver a first class experience.

My daughter and son have had the privilege of spending 4 summers at the Arts, Sports & Animation Camp. It is the perfect combination of creative, experiential exploration, action, and fun. The efforts that these teachers go to, in order to provide incredible care and activities, is astounding. We have yet to find a more enjoyable camp week, and we have had the luxury of trying many different camps. My kids look so forward to this week all year. Thank you to all you amazing teachers!

For the past four years I have worked as a camp counsellor at the Arts, Sports & Animation Camp. Originally, I was enrolled as a camper where I focussed mostly on Stop-Motion animation. As I grew older, the camp’s director recognized my maturity and dedication and felt that it would be good for me to move into a counsellor position. At first I helped run activities in which I had developed a high level of skill, that being animation. Soon I was asked to increase my responsibility from animation to being in charge of the younger group of campers along with a co-counsellor. I have received excellent feedback from my time at the camp. Many returning children have asked their parents if I am going to be there as they want to be in my group. My relationship with the camp director is excellent and my scope of responsibility continues to grow every year so it has been extremely rewarding for both myself and the camp.

My boys and girls love the Arts, Sports & Animation camp, and have participated for the last five years! They love the variety of sports and activities, from creating masterpieces for their bedrooms, to animation projects, water gun fights and fencing. There’s a lot packed in to a week to keep them engaged and entertained! I love the familiarity of having it at SHS with teachers we all love, and the fact that it runs at the end of June. It’s a great way to kick off summer!

Dear Dorota,
Many thanks for including Alexandra in your camp. She always feels empowered after spending time with you and being engaged in the art, and for that – I am very grateful. Hugs and Cheers

Camp Creativity is the perfect camp for the active, imaginative and “techie”, child that you may have. My son has enjoyed this camp for the past 5 summers. The art component is unique, the video and photography aspect keeps them focused and engaged and the outdoor games allow them to burn off excess energy while interacting with all the kids. I think this is one of the most well rounded camps out there. Your child won’t be disappointed.

Our youngest son had now attended Dorota’s art camp for the last two years and the best testimonial I can give is that as the last day approaches he is already asking me to book his spot for the next year.
The camp is extremely well run by an incredible lady. There is always laughter and huge smiles on everyone’s faces.
A definite must if your child enjoys being creative.

I’ve participated in art camp for 7 years and every time it never ceases to amaze me. From animation to photography there is always something fabulous to do. The camp allows you be creative with art and you get to make awesome masterpieces, friends, and have memorable experiences along the way. If you think it is just about making art you’re wrong. There is recess, sports, and on one of the days a fun filled haven of splashing and being splashed with water toys! Remember bring a bathing suit, a water weapon, and a spare pair of shoes! Trust me you’ll really want one at the end of the day. But what I am trying to say is that Sterling Hall’s Art Camp is an amazing experience for your kids. A definite must and on the top of my list for summer activities!

My 5-year-old son attended the SHS Arts, Sports, and Animation camp last year and he absolutely loved it. It was his first camp experience without one of his older siblings and on top of that, he has multiple food allergies — all of which led to a little initial hesitation for both him and I. He was so well cared for, however, and he did some amazing projects, made new friends, and had a tremendous amount of fun. He will most definitely be going back this summer (and his siblings will be joining him!).

I look forward to starting every summer with art camp! The teachers are super cool, and the activities are really fun. We do a wide range of activities from painting skateboards and birdhouses, to clay animation, to dress up with face paint to outdoor water fights. The best part of the water fight is you get to squirt the teachers! You will enjoy art camp if you go and you will have great memories and go there every year like me!

The Art, Sports & Animation camp has been a treasure for my two boys for the last three years. Although they are very sporty boys this is the camp they do not want to miss. As you walk into camp the halls are bustling with energy and you can feel the atmosphere of creativity. The projects are so well planned out with amazing finished products that the kids are so proud of. The warmth and enthusiasm of the director and staff cannot be matched! Last year the boys brought along three friends and all three girls loved it ?

My boys, six and eight, have attended Camp Creativity last summer and they loved it! They will be attending the camp again this summer and my 5 year old girl will be joining them.
The camp is run by a fabulous Sterling Hall Art Teacher, Dorota Trnik. They have full days of physical and creative activities. They play games outside and also do amazing artwork in the studio. Last summer they learned to use media to create animated videos and were very proud of their clay projects and canvases, which several are displayed on our walls.
Aside from being a fun place for the kids, it is also a kind and wholesome environment. I highly recommend the camp for both, boys and girls.
